Abigail's 1st B'day

Well, its been a long time... Should I change my blog to Grand Babies and ME? I have two (2) now and Abigail is having her first birthday & party today... hard to believe it was a year ago this blessing was added to our lives. Yep Friday the 13th, 2008. 13 has always been a good number for us. (George and I had our first date on Feburary 13, 1969) I am going to update my pictures (crossing fingers) and hopefully you will see pictures of both Natalie and Abigail my next post. I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN. I woke with a monster headache this morning (OH NO) and then as I got up to take something for it... THUNDER.. ahh ha... a front was coming through.... It's almost 10 a.m. and I am feeling nearly good again. I will close and dressed and beautified (is that a word?) well I can try can't I? and be ready when George gets in from the gym in case he has plans for us before the party. Have a great day. Obie

Where has the time gone? Finally I got some pictures on a disk and and I have 2 grand babies now. so here is the New Arrival. Abigail Morgan Wright. Daddy is holding her and boy is he in love again!

I wish I had pictures to show you about Mothers Day... however they are on Leah's blog. I tried to swipe a couple but for some reason it would not work. I have done it before and but today it will not work. So yoou can look at her blog and see our pictures. I had a wonderful day. My children (all Three) came to church with us and that was the best present I could have had. I'm serious... I Love having my family with me at church. Leah made me a Tote bag...which will hold more than I should carry but I did ask for it. GRIN She made me the cutes card and the words she wrote any mom would love. When I got home sitting in my favorite chair was a card from Jared. He is a man of few words...no comments out there... He had choosen a beautiful card and I so appreciate that and my lunch too. I am proud of my children. John's birth Mom died 3 years ago this Month. May the 4th I believe. We all miss Sherry. I can't help but think of her each time I look at Natalie. Oh how she would have loved spoiling 2 girls... She looks so much like Sherry sometimes. Its just one of her many faces. As long as there is Natalie there will be Sherry. All the boys miss her and all I can be is a small part of there lives. I'm here Alan and Seth incase you ever want to talk or just reminess. I must take more pictures with my camera... I had it Sunday but Leah has the good one and the wind was so wild I did not try. HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GREAT MOHTERS DAY!! I sure did. George was born in January of '47 so he is the nearly 2 year old baby in the arms of his Mom w/Pop to her right. Albert Lee George's oldest brother by 11 years looks to me to be the young man on the far right in the picture on the front row. I will get George to identify more and will edit. I know Aunt Betty and looks like all the Aunts are in there so I will try to figure it all out. I hope he remembers them all. Okay, Family read the comment from Sheila and see if you agree with the names with the ones she points out? also who are the children? Craig and Bob should be in there as well as ??? who are they? This is the Archer Christmas picture of 1948 Momma Archer is to the far left... and if Poppa Archer is alive he must be the one behind/beside her. If so this is the only picture we have of him. I can see Uncle Dave (because he went bald early) Looking to the right of George Mom, Sue is Aunt Lil and Uncle Dave is just behind her. To His right I believe is Aunt Cordie's oldest son ? Bill?? He died a few years ago with cancer. Aunt Cordie seems to be in the center of the picture in the light V neck dress with the dark V Lace or some sort of enbelishment. More later when some one can point out to me who all is here.
